SPJ Louisiana welcomes new board member Melanie Warner Spencer
Melanie is managing editor of Louisiana Life and Acadiana Profile magazines and editor of New Orleans Bride Magazine, New Orleans Homes & Lifestyles and Acadiana Weddings Magazine. Spencer is a native Kentuckian, but says she got to New Orleans as fast as she could.
For 19 years, Spencer has covered news, lifestyle, design and entertainment at various publications, serving as the design columnist at The Austin American-Statesman, a senior staff reporter at The Houston Chronicle and as the editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Houston Brides magazine. 14 حريقاً في اللاذقية بيوم واحد منها 8 بالقرداحة
قال مدير زراعة اللاذقية، المهندس منذر خير بك، إن 14 حريقًا اندلع أمس الأحد، 13 من تشرين الأول، في ريف مدينة اللاذقية، ثمانية حرائق منها في القرداحة.
وأضاف خير بيك في تصريح لوكالة سانا اليوم الاثنين، 14 من تشرين الأول، أن هبوب الرياح مساءً تسبب في تجدد اشتعال الحرائق في أحراج قرية فرز العنانيب، ومحاصرة فريق الإطفاء، ومقتل عنصرين منه.
وقال تلفزيون الخبر نقلًا عن مصدر محلي إن عاملين فقدا حياتهما وأصيب 16 عاملًا من فريق الإطفاء التابعة للمديرية، خلال محاولتهم إخماد الحريق، من بينهم رئيس شعبة حراج جبلة، المهندس باسل ديوب.
من جهته قال رئيس “شعبة حراج جبلة”، المهندس باسل ديوب، لتلفزيون الخبر إن ثلاثة حرائق اندلعت بريف جبلة مساء الأحد في أراضي زراعية وحراجية، كما اندلع حريق ضخم في قريتي بترياس وكفر دبيل، ألحقت ضررًا بأراض زراعية وحراجية بمساحة 45 دونمًا، مؤكدًا أن الحريق “بات تحت السيطرة”.
